Tate High School is excited to announce that Mr. Leon Anderson, the Director of Jazz Studies at Florida State University, will be a guest artist during the Winter Jazz Concert.

Mr. Anderson was gracious enough to accept our invitation to visit Tate and work with the students in our jazz program.  He will also host a masterclass concerning jazz drum set performance and playing with a rhythm section.  We invite students and directors from our surrounding junior and senior high schools to attend both the masterclass and the concert and partake in these great events.

The masterclass will take place on Wednesday afternoon, December 7th.  The Winter Jazz Concert will be in the Tate Cafeteria on Thursday, December 8th at 6:30 PM.  Admission to the concert will be $6.00 per person.
